Jose Garcia

Co-Lead Veterinary Assistant and Safety & Premises Supervisor

Jose joined us in September 2019. About him in his own words - Hi, I have been in the Veterinary field for about 6 years now and I love everything about it. I have a small dog named Izzie and a cat that I adopted in December last year named Eva. I grew up near Downtown LA working in electrical field but transferred over to the animal world around 2013. I have an identical twin brother that does the exact same thing for a hospital in West LA. We both love to play basketball (Go Lakers!). I am looking forward to working with your pets.

Jordan Ashworth

Veterinary Assistant

Jordan joined us in 2018 and about her in her own words - Hi! I started my veterinary journey by volunteering at Boulevard Animal Hospital in 2018. I began as a kennel attendant and now I am a veterinary assistant and I plan on going to school to further my veterinary education. I have been around animals my whole life, growing up my family had 2 cats named Butter and Princess and that is where my love and passion for animals started. I have always wanted to help and take care of every animal I can and I am really happy I get to do that here! I currently have 1 cat named Oliver and 2 dogs named Luna and Pluto. I am really looking forward to meeting you and helping your pets!

Maizie Gonzales

Junior Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Attendant

Maizie joined us in 2023 and in her own words - Hi, my name is Maizie Gonzales and I am pursuing my dreams of becoming a veterinarian. I graduated from California Lutheran University with a BS in biology and a minor in chemistry. I have just joined the veterinary field and have been around animals my whole life. I currently live with 3 dogs - Hershey, Buttercup, and Zeus; 3 bunnies - Latte, Biscuit, and Figgy; a turtle named Molasses; and a bearded dragon. I am looking forward to meeting you and working with your pets!
